Two Things Challenge: Sun / Shadow
This week's 2 Things Challenge was Sun / Shadow. Thankfully, we're moving out of winter and into spring. Put another way, the days are getting longer and the shadows are getting shorter!
I had so many pictures to choose from that already existed in my files, including a really, really cool picture of National Cathedral, but I decided to actually go out and find new subjects to fit this challenge and here they are: my interpretations of Sun / Shadow!

Oh Yay I can comment!! I did try to yesterday and I couldn't. Nor on the 2 things blog so thanks for spotting my entry and including it. I love your cat entry, he/she looks very happy in the sun!
I am going to comment here about the panda's too incase I'm not allowed below! It's neat that you have the panda's. We had some at the Auckland Zoo about 20 years ago and my parents took me to see them. It was a huge draw card and I loved them! It's a shame that some animals need to be kept captive in order for us to learn about them and appreciate them. Thanks for sharing your panda's!
Also...my 2 things suggestions...Native/Exotic
Old fashioned/ In fashion...famous/infamous
No offence will be taken if you don't choose any of them:)
Lisa: I'm glad you can comment! Blogger has been wonky on this end, too. It's been really frustrating for the last couple of weeks. I wonder what's up?
I love your suggestions for the 2 Things challenge! I've added them to the list.
And here's hoping commenting on Blogger returns to normal. For all of us.
I like these photos! But I still want to see that National Cathedral photo, too.
Where can the 2 things challenge be seen?
I love all photos but that especially with the cat! Great choices!
Great entries! I particularly like the cat photo as the shadow through water is so unique and delicate.
Jess: I'll post the National Cathedral one on Friday, just for you!
Gizelle: You can find a link to the Two Things Challenge on my blog under "Other Blogs I Enjoy" or click here.
Bev: The cat was an added bonus! The shadow through water you mentioned is what I was going for. Still, the cat was happy to participate in the whole affair!
I enjoyed your cat pic for the challenge. Always fun to see the comfotable positions our four-legged friends can effortlessly contort themselves into yoga-style napping positions.
I had to smile and chuckle seeing you photo and listening to our dog snore he's on the chair behind me. Quite embarassing as all four legs are up in the air. I think he's more cat than dog.
DL: Every once in a while, I look at that cat and the contortions he's in as he sleeps and it makes me ache. If I slept like that, I'd never walk upright again! That said, I'm not a cat fan (in fact, this isn't even my cat. It's my house mate's.) I'm a dog person myself. In my next life, I want to come back as a dog and spend all day dozing in the sun! Ah, that's the life, right?
