Yes We Will

Yes We Can : Yes We Did : Yes We Will

Moving along down Georgia Avenue, I ran across this poster on the side of a bus shelter. (Click on the image to enlarge it.) In one week from today, America will inaugurate a new president. His clarion call to us for the last two years was "Yes We Can." We responded with "Yes We Did." Now, the new call is "Yes We Will."

Is that your reflection I see in this image?

Now a reflective message.
Yes you can, Yes you did, Yes you will.

Just 7 more days, out with the old in with the new. I'm looking forward to change.

They should pay you for the rights to that text today. Excellent!

Grey skies, but sunshine in the hearts! I wished I could be there for the inauguration.

Andrea: No, I stepped aside to avoid my reflection in the glass. The reflection you see is just some random man walking up the street. And yes, change is in the air. The Obamas have already been out and about in the community and are committed to participating as citizens in the city in which they now reside. I hope those of us living in D.C. will take a page out of their play book and start participating, too!

VJ: Thank you!

Merisi: Exactly! Tune in at 6:00 p.m. in Vienna and watch history in the making!

I very nearly came to DC for the event. I would love to be in your city next week!

Brian: There's still time! I don't know if NG is going down to the Mall for the festivities, but I think I might be. If you want to come along, just holler!

I still can't believe it. I was pretty sure that it might happens in my children's lives but not mine. Never say never.
