Church of ChristContinuing the Churches of 16th Street series, this is the Church of Christ located at 4801 16th Street NW. I couldn't find a website for this particular congregation. If anyone knows the history of the church and this location, please let me know.

It's a gorgeous church. It drives me crazy when I can't find the historical significance of buildings!
Very solid looking building for a church, it almost looks more like it should be a bank or insurance building. Lovely tree in front of the church.

CIB: It does look like a bank, doesn't it? I wish I'd taken a picture of this church in the summer, when the tree was in full foliage. Still, even denuded, it's a stately tree, isn't it?
