Desperado

Pogeaux the Red, soakin' up some rays and trying to decide whether
to chatter at the squirrel in the tree or just doze off.

I didn't get out for my walk yesterday evening, but I did get some exercise working in the yard. As a result, I have no new pictures. That said, here's a picture of the cat who lives in my house. He loves him some sunshine! And, rather than regale you with more pictures of Pogeaux the Red, there are no new pictures on Standing Room Only today.

Love the look on his face. daring the squirrel to come near. Like the reflection on his chin too. Sort of a punkish look!

My sister-in-law lives in D.C. She recently sent us the funniest photos from a "pet parade" held there.

Your cat would look great pulled in a wagon. Of course he'd have to have a big pillow to lay on. Oh, don't forget a crown.;)

Virginia: This is one of my better pictures of Msr. le Pogeaux. He's pretty photogenic and he knows it. I think, if he hadn't been neutered, he'd have been a show cat.

Marley: He's a pretty handsome devil (with emphasis on devil.) :-)

Gwyn: I totally missed the pet parade. Would you mind asking your sister where in the city the pets paraded? As for Pogeaux, not only would he have to have a pillow and a crown, but there would have to shock absorbers on his wagon. He'd be a cranky butt if he had to bounce all over the place. And treats. There'd also have to be treats at the end. Spoiled cat.

Being neutered will definitely take the "show" out of the cat I would imagine.

Love the kitty shot! He looks so pretty.

Virginia: Pretty much, although the way Pogeaux behaves, you'd never know he was a snip-snip cat.

Maya: I'll be sure to tell him you said so. He hates being told he's pretty. He gets all indignant, as if to say, "I'm NOT pretty. I'm handsome."
