Rainy Reflections
It rained quite a bit last weekend. These are just a couple of pictures I took after the deluge.
The nice thing when it rains is, the kids across the street stay in and out of trouble! Ah, the beauty of urban living...
This photo was taken at the entrance to Rock Creek Park near the Carter Barron Amphitheater.

That last photo is stunning! It ain't easy for me when it rains...I just stay at home with all the food lol.

Love the rainy puddle photo. Such contrast between your posts! Rainy grey and bright flowers!
Word verification today.. adogbac. Nearly a sentence!
Kunal: Thanks! I had fun with the first one, trying not to fall over on my rear in the wet grass.
Giselle: I don't mind the rain occasionally, but when it goes on for days and days and days on end, it could drive me to drink!
Lino: Enjoyed your website very much! Beautiful photos. I'll be back again. Thanks for dropping in here!
Lisa: I'm enjoying Blogger in Draft so much, I do a couple of weeks worth of posts in one sitting. Somehow I missed that I had flowers and rain side-by-side! Oh well. You're right: it's a good contrast.
Beautiful shots. You managed to capture that rainy feeling very well!
Maya: It was a good, healthy bout of rain we had, too! My inspiration for these kinds of photos is a woman named Reya who writes a blog called The Gold Puppy. She posts stuff like this all the time. I'd never considered the side of my car a potential subject for capturing pictures until I started reading her blog.
These photos are wonderfully creative. I'm always looking for reflections in object. Fantastic.
Andrea: I use to miss stuff like this, but I'm getting better and better at noticing and photographing these kinds of things. It's fun to find new ways to be creative!
