Ok, I love this fence. It would match my red truck! I want you to try something for me. Humor me here. I want you to go back and photograph it at different times of the day and try as many different angles etc. I did that with some feathery grasses at the Bot. Gardens and had some fun with it. We'll see.......
VJ: Perhaps I'll go walking on Sunday morning and see what I get from this gate. The hilarious part is, there isn't a fence surrounding the property. Just this gate!
Wayne: Thanks!
Rob: The texture on the gate is what I love about this picture! As for VJ's idea, it's definitely a good one.
Andrea: Isn't it, though? I also like the light play on the textures.
Just M: Thanks! As for VJ's idea: the possibilities are endless! (I've actually done what she suggests, but with monuments and such. The outcome is quite gratifying!)
Marley: No, she doesn't! I think the red gate will be my Sunday morning subject for posting someday next week. If you'd like a print, let me know. I just acquired a lovely color printer for Christmas and can do prints as large as 8x10.
Maya: Yep, just a stand-alone gate. I like the color, too.
Actually I am thinking late afternoon sun with some nice shadows but that's just me being "Bossy the Cow". I told Wayne to try this and he promptly ignored me if I remember correctly. And Marley, you get cracking yourself!
VJ: Well, my plan for tomorrow morning was to walk in the neighborhood, but now I might be walking on the C&O Canal instead. What's my point in that? My point is, I could take pictures of the gate in the afternoon.
Hey Wayne! You should listen to Virginia. Just sayin'...

Who'd a thunk a rather rickety looking section of fence would make such a pleasing image.
Very nice J.
The red color and the textures pop right out. Virginia has an interesting idea. I will try that.
Cool red fence. I like the way the light enhances the different textures on the wood.
Love it! I also love Virginia's idea.... hhhmmmm what can I do that with...

Virginia doesn't want much. does she! Lol! Actually, I want to see! Go on get going...
This photo would make a great print for a wall. Brilliant.
Oooh, LOVE the color. Nicely done!
hmmm, no fence, just a stand alone gate? Interesting... btw, my word verification? bride.

JM. I listen to her constantly but most of it goes in one ear and out the other.
Wayne: I'm not touching that one.
