Complementary colors in fall splendorI took these pictures last week, before it turned overcast, wet, and gloomy. I'm throwing them up here to beat away the gray we've had the last few days. Fall colors are almost gone now.

Aside from the ginkos, oaks, and elms, most of the trees have dropped their leaves. And all we need for the others to lose their leaves is a good stiff wind out of the north.
Standard timeWith the return of fall and standard time, the sun is a little more to the south, which results in some bright days when we see the sun. I love fall and am glad it lasts so long in this area. I'll be sorry to see it go.
