My apologies: I'm pulling from the archives again today as I didn't make it outside yesterday and I'm not posting another picture of the cat. I may be desperate, but I'm not that desperate! This is a sequence of photos I took a few week's ago at Gravelly Point just north of Washington National Airport (DCA). I managed to get off five shots of the same plane taking off.

What, no kitty photo today???? I am still chuckling over assuming you were a cat lover. Well that's a cool series of shots of the plane though. Bet it was tres noisy! Hey, doesn't everybody pull from archives???? I would be out of luck if I couldn't.

I too delve into the archives to fill my daily posting. Hmm, maybe I should pll out some snow pics as a visual cool off in the heat of the summer. Nothing wrong with photos of our four legged friends.

I love this sequence! Great color too. As for the same day stuff - I usually take photos in batches on outings, and some days are good, others not so good. Then they go up as I get to them. I rarely post same day photos.
USElaine: Thanks! I usually do the same, too. When I'm out and about, I take a bunch of photos of different stuff and then I pick and choose something for each day. So much easier than trying to shoot something every day.
OTOH, shooting every day resulted in some good exercise! I guess there's trade offs with everything, huh?
More planes and less cats! LOL
