Flying lessons? Or are seagulls plane-spotting enthusiasts?A week or so ago, I was in East Potomac Park taking pictures of bicyclists and blossoming chestnut trees and sailboats and planes landing on the other side of the river at Washington National Airport and the like. Eventually, I got in my car to go take pictures of the U.S. Capitol when I drove past all of these seagulls lined up on the fence at the river's edge. It was too good not to photograph!
