Reflection on the hood of a Honda

I'm stealing a page out of The Gold Puppy's playbook. The other day, I looked out my office window at my car below and saw the tree reflected in my windshield. Reya, who writes The Gold Puppy, is famous for these kinds of pictures. I think I was channeling her when I took this.

I think I'm going to send this picture to Honda and tell them that my little CR-V EX is begging to be hybridized. This reflection alone is evidence of that, don't you think? Come on Honda! Stop dragging your feet. Start selling all your cars with hybrid options. If Toyota can do it, so can you!

Really great photo! I love when opportunities present themselves out of the blue. I'd definitely send to Honda, what's there to lose. Maybe they'll consider and do a print ad and you can get royalties. *smile*

Okay first off how do you keep your car so shiny and clean? Second that is a sweet picture. I think it looks like something straight out of lord of the rings (minus the car).Oh by the way, the kids really love the frog shots:) I wish we were closer and could take them to the exhibit...

AE: Funny thing is, I never noticed these kinds of photo ops until I started spending more time behind a camera. Now everything is a potential picture with a story!

Niki: Shiny and clean? Ha, ha, ha! I cropped the photo to eliminate the big bird poopy on the hood! It's too bad the frog exhibit won't be here through next year.

Nice, nice photo, D.C. I love the hood with the reflecting trees. One could just fall into that fantasy world.

Uh-oh, better get Geiko, a tree is in your car!

Fabulous photo! nice clean car. Amazing the things we seee when we are looking for more photo ops.

By the way, I am all set for Sunday, I will join in on the Two Things Challenge. Hope everybody doesn't mind.

Bobbie: I'm pleased with this photo, too. Makes me glad I bought my Honda in blue!

DL: Can't wait to see your contribution to the Two Things Challenge! Glad you're going to participate. And in truth, the car isn't that clean. In fact, I need to have it washed...

Lara: Thank Reya for inspiring me. As for the painterly quality of the photo, I hadn't noticed that until you mentioned it. The portion on the windshield does almost look like a painting...

What a delightful picture! And who would have ever thought that "delightful" could be used to describe a picture of a car?

Your eye is amazing, DC.

And do it -- send the picture to Honda! If they won't listen, maybe an ad agency would be interested?

Debi: Seriously, huh? I don't think I've ever described my car as delightful, but it certainly is deserving. I must be an idiot, but I can't find a single link on Honda's corporate website that allows me to email them. I have to call, fax, or snail mail them. Can you believe it?! Boo!

I just took a look around the Honda website(s) and couldn't find an easy way to contact them either.

Hm. Maybe your local Honda dealer would be interested?
