Red, White, and Blue
Last weekend, I went out on a photo safari. In my wanderings, I encountered this charming little garage. Its red roof against the blue sky caught my eye, so I snapped a picture. Can't tell you all that much about it, except that it's in someone's backyard just off of Wisconsin Avenue not far from WAMU and across the street from Fort Reno Park.
Oh, and by the way, yesterday's snow? Gone. All melted or melting today.

I like your choice of subject. The red roof and blue sky with the horizontal lines of the power lines make an interesting contrast yet go together because of their nature.
Amazing that the snow is gone so quick! Wow.
What a find and a lively and cheering colour for a roof.
I love this picture D.C. All the lines conspire to create an interesting image. The red roof just sets it all off.
Lisa: Thanks. I have a tendency to miss the simple, every day kind of stuff around me. (I'm one of those, can't-see-the-forest-for-the-trees kind of people.) This literally popped out at me and I thought to myself, "If I was Lisa or Debi, I'd take a picture of this." I actually had fun photographing this!
Bev: It was a fun, unexpected find!
Bobbie: Thank you! I especially like the shade lines from the tree on the roof.
