More fall color. This was taken in the yard of a home on Blagden Avenue, just off of Rock Creek Parkway.

hey, these trees are relatives :). check my post here: http://learn-romanian.blogspot.com/2007/11/sibiu-just-for-pictures.html this is my company's blog, dedicated to our Romanian language summer school.
Oh, Janet! I was prowling your blog, getting a feel for your photography and your town, when this shot took my breath away. It's so perfect I just want to eat it!
(I don't know why, but my sisters and I always used to say that when we loved something.)
Debi: I totally missed these comments back in November. Ugh. Thanks for your comments on this picture. There's actually a story behind the title...
My family teases me about being a foodie leaning toward snob. I like to cook and try new things. One ingredient that is often overlooked in cooking is lime, which acquires a buttery texture when cooked to a reduction. I was talking about lime and its buttery quality around them one day. Now, it's a staple when they tease me. This picture is titled thusly as an homage to my love of cooking and their propensity to tease me!
