This spring a cardina...Cardinals are sooooooo cool. This spring a cardinal couple made a lovely nest deep inside one of the red quinces we have at the cottage. Ms Cardinal spent a lot of time in that lil' nest and I was dreaming of wonderful macro shots (the nest was about two feet below one of the kitchen windows). Unfortunately, something happened, no idea what, a couple of weeks ago. The eggs were broken and Ms Cardinal was gone. :( <BR/><BR/>We think that maybe something ate the eggs. A squirrel?
